Artisan Soaps, Scrubs & Lotions

Hand Crocheted Hats

Made in Star, Idaho

I’ve always been intrigued by the natural soothing properties of goat’s milk. For my soaps, I decided to combine goat’s milk with shea butter and honey, and the product is wonderful. You’ll find that it produces a lovely lather and will leave your skin silky smooth with no waxy or oily feeling to the touch. My soaps come in a variety of scents, however, I do not scent my baby soaps.

Making baby and toddler hats have been a favorite pastime of mine since college days. I love the feel of the soft yarn, and I thoroughly enjoy choosing colors and toppers that are just plain cute. I make every hat by myself and I take great care in the design. All of my baby hats are machine washable and can be placed in the dryer; I recommend using lukewarm water, gentle detergent, and drying on low or line drying.

Raising Boer Goats has been a family operation for 17 years. Our daughters showed goats in FFA and 4-H, youth agricultural leadership programs. Boer Goats are a breed of meat goat, which means we raise them for their meat rather than their milk. We currently have 20 breeding does and a couple of bucks. I find goats to be some of the most intelligent, crafty and loving animals I have raised.
